Analytics and Data Publishing: Overview

The Analytics and Data Publishing functionality in Amp Impact has two key components:

IATI Publishing: This feature facilitates creating XML files to publish to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) registry using the IATI Activity and IATI Organisation standards. Amp Impact has specific objects and fields for entering activity and transaction data and flows for generating XML files that can be uploaded to the IATI registry.
PowerBI templates: PowerBi is a Microsoft software for performing advanced analytics on data sets and creating dynamic dashboards. Amp Impact has a PowerBI template that can be used as a starting point for building dashboards to visualize Amp Impact data using PowerBI.

There are three key relationships that are foundational to IATI Publishing:

IATI Sector through Project IATI Sector (junction object): This relationship enables organizations to relate specific IATI Sector records from the catalog of IATI Sectors to their Amp Impact Project/s.
IATI Policy through Project IATI Policy (junction object): This relationship enables organizations to relate specific IATI Policy records from the catalog of IATI Policies to their Amp Impact Project/s.
Transaction Project IATI Sector (junction object): This relationship enables organizations to relate Allocation, Budget, and Disbursement records to Project IATI Sector.

Project IATI Sector	ampi__Project_IATI_Sector__c	None	Project IATI Sector is a junction object storing the relationship between a Project and a specific IATI Sector in Amp. It's only used in IATI publishing. Organizations not using IATI publishing will not use this object.
Project IATI Policy	ampi__Project_IATI_Policy__c	None	Project IATI Policy is a junction objects storing the relationship between catalog IATI Policies and Projects in Amp Impact. It's only used in IATI publishing. Organizations not using IATI publishing will not use this object.
Transaction Project IATI Sector	ampi__Transaction_Project_IATI_Sector__c	None	Transaction Project IATI Sector is a junction object connecting Allocations, Budgets and Disbursements to Project IATI Sector. It's only used in IATI publishing. Organizations not using IATI publishing will not use this object.
