    1. Select “View” to view the file in a separate tab before downloading it.

    2. Select “Download” to download the Excel file to your device.

  4. The downloaded Excel Targets template will have two tabs:

    1. Tab 1: Instructions: This tab will outline how to enter data in a compatible format to successfully upload the document onto the Set Targets page.

    2. Tab 2: [Geographic Area + Reporting Period]: This tab will reflect the Geographic Area and all associated Reporting Periods for which the Targets template is downloaded. Nashira (v1.38) release onwards Indicator attribute fields on the Targets Upload Download Excel Template are controlled by INDICATOR_FIELDS_SET_TARGETS_EXCEL_TEMPLATE field set.

If Numerator/Denominator type of indicators exist in the system, the following additional columns will be displayed as part of the downloaded template: 

  • Numerator Definition

  • Denominator Definition

  • Calculation Factor

The above columns will not be displayed if Numerator/Denominator type indicators do not exist in the project for that reporting period and geographic area combination.

Warning

The Targets template has the following limitations as of the latest release: 

  • Currency codes are NOT seen for Currency Project Indicator Targets

  • Percentage sign is NOT seen for percentage Project Indicator Targets

  • HTML markdown characters are expected to be seen which includes formatting specific characters. (eg HTML markdown for new line, bold text etc.) in all releases before the Libertas v1.35 release. As of Libertas the display of HTML tags is controlled by a design attribute.

  • Images are not expected to be printed in excel

  • URLs are not expected to be hyperlinked in the excel cell

The downloaded Results template spreadsheet's locale representation is determined by the settings of the Spreadsheet/Excel application installed on the user's system.

  2. In the Upload Targets popup, click on “Attach File” and select the Targets template saved on the your device. Alternatively, drop the Targets template in the drop zone (indicated by the dotted box) inside the popup.

Ensure you are uploading an Excel file. On attaching an unsupported file type, you will face an error message, “Incorrect file type. Only files in .xlsx format can be uploaded”.

    3. The updated ContentVersion file is posted on Chatter of the related Project Geographic Area record.

    4. Refer to the errors listed in the Error log to correct them.

  4. The Set Targets page will automatically refresh and display the uploaded Targets.

    Upload Target Data from an Excel Template
