The Details of Funds
The Fund object enables you to keep track of all reported funds and allows for the capturing of which resources are funding or contributing to which Programs, Outputs, or Activities. The following fields within the Fund object help you with this:
Total Fund Amount - A currency field that displays the total amount within a fund
Amount Applied For - A currency field that keeps a track of the sum of all allocations associated with a fund that has been created for various projects with a status of ‘Applied For’. This can be automatically calculated via a rollup of Allocations with the status ”Applied for”.
Amount Committed - A currency field that keeps a track of the sum of all allocations associated with a fund that has been created for various projects with a status of ‘Committed’. This can be automatically calculated via a rollup of Allocations with the status ”Committed”.
Amount Paid - A currency field that keeps a track of the sum of all disbursements associated with a fund that has been created for various projects with a status of ‘Paid. This can be automatically calculated via a rollup of Disbursements with the status ”Paid”.
Please note that out of the box the Fund automation comes disabled. Please refer to the Flows section of the Installation Guide for steps on activating Fund automation.
