Lock an Implementation Plan

When To lock an Implementation Plan is submitted and locked as a part of the “Submit and Lock” wizard, users , set the “Implementation Locked” field to TRUE. Users will not be able to add, edit or delete any Activities via the activities LWC.

  1. The text “(Locked)” will be added after the “Implementation Plan Name” on the picklist on

  2. The following buttons will be disabled:

    1. “Add New Activity”

  3. Users will not view options to “Edit”, “Delete”, “Add Child task”, “Add Child Milestone” on the right click on an individual Activity

  4. Users will not be able to edit Activities via the Gantt Chart. The chart will be rendered read only. Users can still hover over the Activities/Gantt Chart to view related information about the particular Activity

  5. The “Implementation Locked” field is set to TRUE

System Admin Note: When the “Override Locked Implementation Plan ” custom permission is assigned to a user they can make edits to the Activities/Milestones even if activities LWC has been locked. Read more here.
